# Type Alias: JsonValue

```ts
type JsonValue = 
  | string
  | number
  | boolean
  | null
  | JsonValue[]
  | {
[key: string]: JsonValue;
};
```

A value that can be represented in JSON: a string, number, boolean, null, array, or object.
Component state uses these values so it can be sent through iframe messages and encoded
in URLs. Dates are ISO 8601 strings; functions and `undefined` are not supported.
