# Interface: StateWriteOptions

Options for state updates made by your app.
Use `silent` when your controls already show the new values and do not need a change event.

## Properties

| Property | Type | Description |
| ------ | ------ | ------ |
|  `silent?` | `boolean` | Suppress change notifications for this update. Defaults to `false`. The update is still validated and applied, and rejected values still report errors. For JavaScript embeds, suppresses `statechange` and `filterchange`; for iframes, suppresses `ridge:stateChange`. |
